SOCIAL MEDIA AND ARTS MATTERS CONFERENCE ASSISTANT

I work with the Student Engagement and Communications Officer of the Faculty of Arts. My main tasks is to support planning and successful execution of the Faculty of Arts undergraduate academic conference, and to help produce and manage content for the Faculty of Arts social media accounts.

INTERNSHIP @ RESOLVE

As an Applied Game Design Assistant and Marketing intern at Resolve, I was involved in brainstorming ideas, creating monthly content calendars, handling social media pages and creating contents for social media pages. During the launch of Resolve's new games, Project Aude, I was tasked with promoting the game, which generated over 50 copies of sales in the first month, writing a press release, researching media companies or organizations who were interested in featuring the project, and sending out press release to them. In addition, I worked on promoting the other event (Decades Trivia) associated with the Launch. This Trivia promotion yielded over 20 participants who filled up our event space to it maximum limit. Also, I assisted with day-to-day administrative duties.

ARTS MATTERS CONFERENCE @ UNB

As a part of the organizing team for the 2025 Arts Matters Conference, I made a few designs to promote the event and handled some of the social media pages. In addition, I worked collaboratively with the team in brainstorming ideas during our weekly meetings. I was also tasked with administrative duties like sending out call for submissions to schools in the Atlantic, reviewing panel submissions, and other tasks associated with the successful planning of the conference.

REDSHIRT @ UNB

As a Redshirt, I attended a couple of leadership training before the orientation week, and during the orientation week, I worked collaboratively with other Redshirts in making the new students feel very welcome. This experience helped me network with new and existing students, and it was an opportunity to make friends while helping out.

ARTS PEER MENTOR @UNB

As an Arts peer mentor, I assisted new students during orientation, answered questions that they had, and gave a nice campus tour to make them familiar with locations on campus. This was a successful attempt at building my leadership skills.


JOHN PETER HUMPHREY MODEL UNITED NATIONS CHAIR @ STU

As a volunteer for JPHMUN, I chaired panels and worked with delegates for 2 days. Outside of panels, I, along side other chairs assisted delegated from schools around to settle in and provided guidance based on each person's needs.


SALES AND PROMOTIONS MANAGER @ALOEDA'S SCENTS

As the CEO and promotions manager of Aloeda's scents, I handled the social media pages, and created contents for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp stories. These contents included fragrance tips, fragrance information, and self-care tips. I also drafted and sent out monthly newsletters to community members (Scent Kings and Queens). In addition, to generate leads, I wrote an e-book that captures the importance of self-care, but with this title, I was able to generate over 100 leads to the business's social media accounts, and these leads became buying and returning customers overtime.

MARKETING AND OPERATIONAL MANAGER @ ALOEDA'S COLLECTION

As  an independent business owner at Aloeda's Collection, I take on every responsibility that ensures the success of the small business. I manage getting inventory and every operational tasks related to that. In addition, I create contents and and manage social media accounts. I also make research on different pop-up stores or markets happening within the province that would be an avenue to make sales. During the first launch, I sold out on 50 pieces of inventory, and numbers have increased to over 100 since then.
